Worcester MB4U Group Inaugral Meeting

MB4U Group in dim lightCharles Huthwaite of Innoware and branch chairman of the Hereford & Worcester branch of UKITA hosted the inaugral meeting of the Worcester MB4U group at the Swan at Whittington on Thursday 1st May 2008.  MB4U stands for More Business For You.  The aim of the group is to develop trust relationships amongst members of the group as a critical step towards working on new business opportunities.

Fred Noble, chairman of ADECS and the UKITA chairman, explained the restructuring work that he has led to create a sustanainable future for UKITA and ideas for the futiure were discussed.

Other UKITA members present were Jed Marsden from Electric Broom, Jonhn Williams of ProjExc, and Ian Pugh of CGP Associates.

The M4BU group is in an early stage and all options are on the table.  Possible techniques for creating new business oppornities include teaming for public sector bids, improving quality of referrals, and simply teamwork.

Future meetings are planned.  UKITA members should keep their eye open for further news.  Branch members can contact Charles to express interest.
